Prof. Ofer Agid is staff psychiatrist and a clinician scientist in the Schizophrenia Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. Dr. Agid is the Medical Head, Ambulatory Services and the Lead Psychiatrist, Partial Hospital Program in the Schizophrenia Program. He is also Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Prof. Agid’s research focus is psychopharmacology in schizophrenia, patterns of non-adherence and placebo response, treatment resistant schizophrenia and psychopharmacological mechanism of action of antipsychotics using brain imaging techniques.
